Year 2 have been looking at how IT is used in shops and businesses, this week. We have been investigating how shops scan an item, using a bar code scanner, and then a computer sorts out the price and the total of the items being bought.
We role played being a shop worker and customer and used bar codes to total up how much money we were spending.
It was great fun!
