The healthy Bods, from Sunderland University, visited Key Stage 1 to deliver a very important message about being healthy. The used singing and dancing to show us different ways that we can keep our bodies and minds healthy. Then we completed workshop and performed a dance all about our imaginary soup. It was a lot of fun!
Year 2 took part in a special concert, with some other local schools, to perform some different songs that they had been learning. Year 1 and Year 2 danced the afternoon away at their Christmas Party this week. We had party food, played games and then had some dancing competitions. It was great fun!
Year 2 have been using lots of different colours and a technique called pointillism to create some colour wheels. Pointillism is where you use small dots to create a larger picture. We also experimented with different tones of colour to ensure we used the right shade on our artwork.

Class 4 came to school dressed in non school uniform and donated 50p to fundraise for Children in Need. We thought about all the different ways in which our money could help those children in need and made Pudsey biscuits!
