Everyone was amazing this year in our annual competition from The hub to Year 6. We had special guests, Mrs Ord, Mrs Walmsley and Councillor Butler helping Mr Robson and Miss Thexton judge too. Year 3 absolutely loved welcoming their grown ups into school for our reading cafe today! The children really enjoyed performing their Christmas song and dance for you and taking part in a range of Christmas themed crafts too! Ava and Lilly were so kind this week when they wrapped toys for children who may need them. You are 2 amazing young ladies and we are so proud of you both! They delivered them in person to Graham at the Salvation Army too!
Today, to end our unit on forces, we investigated pulleys. We were shocked at how much easier things were to lift using a pulley-it was amazing!
Today we learned all about Hannukah, how it is celebrated and the origins of its creation. We then made dreidels and played games-we had great fun!
