We were visited by some South American creatures and it was fantastic!
Our first week back after half term with Halloween and Bonfire Night in the same week!
What a week we have had! Harvest assembly for parents and a meet the teacher session for parent’s to see how amazing we have been since we came back!
In year 6 we have been sketching rainforest animals and landmarks in South America, using charcoal and pastels to add layers and tone. Look at our wonderful work!
Year 5 and 6 had a visit from Northumbria Police to give us some strategies about keeping safe around fireworks. We took a lot from the session and are going to spread the word to help keep others safe too.
Today we practised our Harvest whole school assembly in preparation for our families to come in and watch tomorrow-you are in for an absolute treat as we are all amazing! There are speakers, messages and songs and the very important theme of kindness and giving running through it. Our school choir even changed the words to a very famous sea shanty and ‘shantied’ about
Our singing assemblies to practise our Harvest songs are amazing-the smartest children who are following our school rules and joining in with the singing brilliantly get to sit on the chairs! They also get a prize and a certificate-have a look at this week’s winners-well done everyone, you all sounded amazing!
