This week we have been learning all about Space. We have looked at the different planets and found out that we live of planet Earth. We have used pom poms and balloons to print our own mini Earth pictures. As a group we made our very own rocket using junk materials, it was fabulous! We have looked at fiction and non-fiction books and learnt
Last year, year 5 wrote letters to local supermarkets letting them know about how they could be more sustainable. Tesco got back in touch and have asked for their help with a recycling project!
In Friday’s assembly, we were introduced to our new head boy, Theon, and our head girl , Amy. We know they will both do an amazing job! We also met our new school council representatives, well-being ambassadors and our house captains. What a busy morning we had! We couldn’t ask for better representatives and can’t wait for the year ahead.
Year 4 star workers!
We have had some excellent pieces of homework from our year 4 children this week! We have also had brilliant pieces of art work. Take a look.
To celebrate the end of a fantastic year, we visited Tweddle Farm this week. We had such a fun and jam packed day. Some of the activities included; animal handling, bottle feeding the lambs, tractor rides, barrel rides, playing on the parks and so much more!
Take a look at all the fun we had in the photobooth at our community afternoon …
