Year 5 had fun going on an exciting walk to Souter Lighthouse to study our coastline and look at coastal erosion.
Hundreds of cigarette buts have been collected from our school area this weekend-please dispose of yours in the bin!
Another day when our school community showed fantastic support-thank you, it was lovely to see everyone!
Year 2 have had a terrific day learning ‘how to be a scientist’ at the centre for life. We conducted experiments testing our senses, we learned all about what it was like to be in space, we also sound out about how some stars can make patterns and pictures and much more! Take a look at all the FUN!!!
Well what a weekend we had! Every single member of our group has been utterly wonderful-it was a pleasure to spend time with your children this weekend!
We had an early start today with breakfast at 8 then split into 4 groups to undertake activities. We have just had tea and are enjoying the sun on the lawn before orienteering this evening! More pictures will be added so keep checking each post!

We do so much for the wellbeing of our children and staff here at Southwick Primary School and we are one of the first schools in the country to achieve a gold award!
