For world music day we choose to look at Indian music. We listened to a number of pieces and found the pulse, rhythm and beat. We also listened and appraised a number of songs and voted which piece of music we enjoyed the most. We listened carefully and identified different Indian instruments. This Monday, we participated in a Netball tournament at Monkwearmouth. Over 4 games, we won 3 and drew 1, meaning we were FIRST PLACE! What an amazing afternoon, once again our children made us so proud.
As part of Health Week 2022, we are learning all about the importance of being healthy. One way we can do this is by eating healthy foods and having a balanced diet.
Today, we tasted a range of different fruits. Some of the fruits we hadn’t even tasted before and we were really surprised that we actually liked them! We are going to ask our parents to get some for us to eat at home so we can stay healthy.
