Year 2-Portraits of Queen Elizabeth II

Year 2 have been looking at and taking inspiration from the work of David Hockney. We have explored how he uses acrylic paint to create vibrant painting. We created our own portraits of Queen Elizabeth II in the style of David Hockney. Take a look at some of our pieces of work!


Year 5 Brilliant Botanists

In Science, Year 5 began their new topic of Living things and habitats by dissecting a variety of flowering plants. They then labelled and described the functions of the parts of flowering plants, focusing on how they reproduce.


Mini Police fun!

The mini police representatives in year 5 enjoyed a fun filled morning when some of our local police community support officers came to visit them in school.

Are you a good friend?

We have been looking at ways we can be a kind and useful friend in Year 1. We looked at different situations and sorted them into ‘being a good friend’ and ‘being a bad friend.’ There were lots of ways we could discuss to make the bad situations better! Well done Year 1!
