In Science, Year 5 began their new topic of Living things and habitats by dissecting a variety of flowering plants. They then labelled and described the functions of the parts of flowering plants, focusing on how they reproduce.
The mini police representatives in year 5 enjoyed a fun filled morning when some of our local police community support officers came to visit them in school.

We have been looking at ways we can be a kind and useful friend in Year 1. We looked at different situations and sorted them into ‘being a good friend’ and ‘being a bad friend.’ There were lots of ways we could discuss to make the bad situations better! Well done Year 1!
