Today we practised our Harvest whole school assembly in preparation for our families to come in and watch tomorrow-you are in for an absolute treat as we are all amazing! Our singing assemblies to practise our Harvest songs are amazing-the smartest children who are following our school rules and joining in with the singing brilliantly get to sit on the chairs! They also get a prize and a certificate-have a look at this week’s winners-well done everyone, you all sounded amazing!
We know how important reading is and that it is the foundation for all learning. Once you can read, you can learn. Once you can read, you can develop a love of reading and lose yourself in magical worlds with exciting characters-the possibilities are endless! Today was our first meeting and it was amazing!
One of our after school clubs is Show Club, run by our very own theatrical expert, Miss Hetherington! Children build their confidence and have masses of fun learning dance routines, songs and all that jazz from different musicals. A great time is had by all!
At the end of everyday, we all get the chance to listen to our class reader when our teachers read to us. We get to vote on the book we read together and we all look forward to 3pm so we can listen to our story!
Our annual Macmillan coffee morning was a huge success-thank you to everyone involved!
