Year 5 had a wonderful visit to Beamish museum on Wednesday. We were so impressed with their enthusiasm. They enjoyed looking around the different exhibits and taking part in an Evacuee workshop. This morning, at 11am, the whole school took part in a two minute silence for Remembrance Day. Each year group also contributed some wonderful work for an assembly all about this important day. We will be sharing some of this fantastic work soon…

Year 5 and 6 had a visit from Northumbria Police to give us some strategies about keeping safe around fireworks. We took a lot from the session and are going to spread the word to help keep others safe too.
Today we practised our Harvest whole school assembly in preparation for our families to come in and watch tomorrow-you are in for an absolute treat as we are all amazing! Our singing assemblies to practise our Harvest songs are amazing-the smartest children who are following our school rules and joining in with the singing brilliantly get to sit on the chairs! They also get a prize and a certificate-have a look at this week’s winners-well done everyone, you all sounded amazing!
