This afternoon KS1 visited the Thompson park to celebrate the end of an amazing year! We loved the swings, slides and climbing equipment. Look at how much fun we all had! When we returned to school it was just in time to get ice cream or lolly. They were super yummy!!
Lorraine Belford came in to do Zumba! We were great movers and really enjoyed it!
Miss Hetherington showed us the dance to Revolting Children from Matilda and we had an amazing time learning it!
We have had so much fun at the beach. We went on rock hunts, practiced our balancing skills making rock towers, learnt about fire safety toasting marshmallows and even dipped our toes in the sea. Take a look at us in action.
We have had the best day at Beamish! We took part in a Victorian school lesson, visited the farm, the old town and the sweet shop. We are all very tired!
Year 4 were invited to Wearmouth Cricket Club by Young Asian Voices. We learned how to bat, bowl and field and we were amazing! We had a great time and the staff said we were wonderful!
We used tights to mimic the intestines, a plastic bag as the stomach with orange juice as the digestive juices and a range of other fabulous resources to show how food passes through the digestive system. It was digusting, informative and lots of fun!
We had a brilliant session in the hall on Tuesday afternoon where Mrs Hughes had set up 10 different stations with different exercises for us to complete. There were box jumps, cycling, skipping, hand weights and many more. We had a great time!

As part of Health Week, Miss Hughes came back in to see us and do some circuit training with us. We did a carousel, working on different muscle groups at each station. We were hot, our hearts were pumping quickly and we had a great time! Thanks Miss Hughes!
