On Monday morning the school council helped Mrs Walmsley to decorate the school Christmas tree.
We have an inset day scheduled for Wednesday 28th November 2018. School is closed for pupils. Only staff should attend.
On Tuesday 2nd October, 18 children from year 6 took part in an athletics tournament at Monkwearmouth Academy with four other schools in Sunderland.
We have looked at food from around the world and how a rainbow of coloured food is good for you.
There is cake sale taking place on Friday 28th September in the school sports hall from 9:30 until 11am in aid of Macmillan Cancer Research. Everyone welcome.
We have a breakfast club taking place in school from 8am every morning. All sessions are free and children receive toast, cereal, fruit and yogurt.
Southwick girls’ football team had a night to be proud of this evening as we came away with two wins from four games. Once again, the attitude and team spirit was absolutely marvellous and an absolute pleasure to watch. Every single player put in a fantastic performance and grew in confidence as each game went on.
