Outdoor Learning

At Southwick we pride ourselves on trying to find different ways to encourage our children to grow in all aspects of the world, bringing our classroom outside. We want to empower children to take ownership of their learning, allowing their minds and bodies to thrive. We want to encourage children to develop the skills to solve problems, become resilient and to be reflective learners. We also encourage our pupils to develop skills of communication, cooperation and collaborative learning and provide a challenging, safe and secure environment which children can take and manage risks.
