This week we have been learning about farms, which animals live on a farm, what noises animal makes and who looks after all the animals. We read the stories ‘Farmer Duck’ and ‘What the Ladybird Heard’. We’ve enjoyed playing in our Farm shop, using the till to serve customers a range of different fruit and vegetables. We also made different meals in the home corner.
We have enjoyed colouring in and drawing pictures of animals. We made our own animal masks using paper plates. We have also been using our cutting skills to cut out pictures of animals and match them to the places on the farm where they live.
We have enjoyed naming the different farm animals in the tuff tray, with the tractors.
