Guyanese Food Tasting for year 6…

Tiffany and Abigail and their wonderful family went shopping and bought and prepared a selection of Guyanese foods for us to try. We had a wonderful afternoon sampling sweet tamarind, papaya, mango, sugar cane, guava, plantain chips and a selection of other delights. We tried everything and loved most of it! The Kerela plant was a little bitter but we washed it down with tamarind juice! Thanks to the Luckham family for their kindness and generosity-we had a wonderful afternoon!
