This Harvest Festival the children decided instead of donating money to a charity they would dedicate time and effort into looking after our planet. After hosting our first Community Litter Pick and planting more than 100 trees; the next issue we focussed on was the problem with England’s ever growing
landfills. We live on a beautiful planet with limited resources. The children believe that unlimited consumerism is just not sustainable for the world they will be living in in the future.
And this is where our project of no toy left behind came in. We held a toy drive where we will be sold gorgeous and giftable second-hand toys.
Our mission is to make it easy to love prelove to help our community decrease waste, decrease our carbon footprint. Our toy drive this week certainly did that whilst raising an amazing total of over £300 for out chosen charity the Salvation Army!!!!
Can we take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported this project by donating toys and also coming along to the drive. I know many of you managed to grab yourselves some great bargains!!
