We have loved reading the story of The Little Red Hen. We have retold the story through writing retells and drama performances. We learnt how bread is made and where flour comes from, exploring the process of grain to bread. We even made our own bread, however unlike the story The Little Red Hen we worked together as a team to make the bread, and then ate it together. We enjoyed the taste of the white bread more than the brown, it was so much fun!
