Year 3 have really enjoyed learning about how to stay safe online. This year, the theme was ‘Too good to be true? Protecting yourself and others from scams online‘.
We learned all about what an online scam is and how to spot them. The children feel much more confident in their ability to spot an online scam and also know what to do if thy see one.
To demonstrate their understanding of scams, they created their very own scam and phishing messages. Some of them included ‘too good to be true’ offers, spelling errors, requests for money and applied pressure to the recipient.
