Year 5 have been learning all about World War II. Mrs Waddell’s mother came in and spoke to all of us about being a child during the war. We learnt so much about life in the war as she was our age when the war happened. She explained the different kinds of gas masks that were worn. the different air raid shelters and what it was like to be bombed out! We asked lots of questions and our knowledge of World War II has increased immensely.
