Year 6 enjoyed a brilliant trip to the University of Sunderland this week. We learned all about engineering and found out what an engineer is, the many different roles that engineers may do and how to become an engineer. We were lucky enough to interview five different engineers and ask them questions about their roles. We then took part in some building and designing challenges using electric components and circuits. We were then asked to think of our own ideas and projects for what we would design/create if we were engineers.
