This week’s Merit Certificates have been awarded to…

Year 1: Ollie Miller, you have been so polite and well mannered all week-well done! Chayse King, you tried really hard in maths when subtracting-well done!

Year 2: Oluwakorede Akinola, you had some lovely ideas for new year resolutions-well done! Harper Smith, you used amazing and interesting adjectives in your writing-well done! Myla Davies, you have returned to school with a fabulous attitude-well done!

Year 3: Harper Ditch, your enthusiasm and questions about The Romans was amazing-well done! Class 8, your first swimming lesson was wonderful and you were great representitives for our school-well done! Gabriel Hunton, your effort and attitude in history this week has been amazing-well done!

Year 4: Chu Chu Nnaji, your effort in swimming was wonderful-you are a star! All of year 4, your enthusiasm and engagement in swimming this week was amazing-you are all super stars!

Year 5: Aston Burlinson, trying so hard in all subjects this week, you are a star. Keep it up! Class 13, your amazing work in Spanish this week. Mrs Purvis was so impressed! Well done!

Year 6: Dalton King, you have made us all happy by coming to school this week-keep it up and well done! Oryindamola, you have been a super mathematitian this week and love to challenge yourself-well done!

This week’s focus was to stay motivated when something is challenging. It is sometimes easier to give up but we didn’t this week and we had some lovely suggestions to stay motivated too-well done everyone!

Year 1: Hall Davies, you perervered when solving challenging subtraction calculations-well done! Millie-May Nicholson, you kept going when learning about materials, eventhough it was tricky-well done!

Year 2: Lily Harding, you thought carefully about your new year resolutions-well done! Marley Barrs, you tried so hard when writing expanded noun phrases-well done! Nylah Foot, you kept on working hard to answer questions in geography-well done!

Year 3: Birsen Askoy, you never give up and encourage others to keep going too-well done! Elizabeth Oloyede, you perservered during tennis and kept working to find a way that worked for you-well done! Lincoln Percy, you have lots of strategies to keep yourself and others motivated-well done!

Year 4: Lily Shakesby, you always try your best and never give up-well done! Lucas Brown, you never ever give up and always try your very best-well done!

Year 4 have massively impressed this week after their firt swimming lesson with Swim City. You were all wonderful ambassadors for our school and the instructors said you were all amazing-well done! Bryony Anderson and Bahar Farrs, you are both making Mr Robson smile with your excellent attitude to everything in school and how lovely you both are to each other too-well done!
