Year 1: Oliver Spurs, you have made a great start to your own version of The Selfish Crocodile-well done! Melvin Alabi, you have had a great first week at Southwick and we are so lucky to have you!

Year 2: Everyone in Year 2! You made our trip to the Wetlands so fabulous and your listening and questions were wonderful!

Year 3: Dante McHenry, your attitude towards your work this week has been amazing-you have impressed us all-well done! Kira Richardson, you perservered and worked extr hard to re-do your leaflet after it disappeared off the computer system-well done! Kye Barker Robins, your attitude in English has been great and your persuasive leaflet to help save the bees was amazing-well done!

Year 4: Liyana Khoyer, your attitude towards fasting for Ramadan has been so mature and thank you for teaching us all about your religion-well done! Keeron Roberts, you have been an amazing mathematitian again this week-you are a superstar!

Year 5: Rochelle Anderson, you have made us all smile this week with your super writing and contributions in English lessons-well done! Darcy Wilkinson, you have been a star this week in English to and have produced amazing work on play scripts-well done! Conal Murphy, this is for your amazing attitude and independent working in maths-well done!

Year 6: Katie Roberts, this is for being an all round superstar-you are a fantastic role model and a credit to yourself-well done!

This week’s focus was to have been physically active. We all know the health benefits of staing active and how it helps your mental health too!

Year 1: Ollie Miller, you always enjoy being active in PE-well done! Ivy Neal, you are a great mover in PE-well done!

Year 2: Bobby Huggins, you know all the times of the day you can be active-well done! Scarlett Robins, you fully embraced being outdoors at the Wetlands Centre-well done! Class 7, you were amazing for all of the walking you did around the Wetlands Centre!

Year 3: Kira Richardson, you supported your friends in PE this week and were a great role model-well done! Carson King, you tried so hard in PE with your presentation in gymnastics-well done! Ayla Pennock, you enjoyed helping Mrs stephenson with the warm up in PE-well done!

Year 4: Fraser McLaughlin, you are always physically active and push yourself to always do your best-you are a great team player too-well done! Chu Chu Nnaji, you love to be active everyday! Well done Chu Chu!

Year 5: All of year 5, you have all tried so hard in swimming sessions-well done!

Year 6: Zander Tumwijukye, you always keep fit playing basketball at play time-well done!

Year 2 massively impressed this week with their wonderful attitude and behaviour whilst at Washington Wildfowl Park-you were all wonderful! Year 4 were excellent ambassadors at The Beacon of Light this week for The Heart on Your Sleeve Festival. Everyone commented on how amazing our children were-you should all be very proud!

This week’s winners are Class 7 (again!) with 98.8% Well done everyone!
