We have had another very busy week with the school being recognised for an official award – “The School Community Award” which recognises our commitment to promoting positive mental health in the school community. The Duchess of Cambridge attended the event with myself, Mrs Ellison and Mrs Stoker receiving the award at the Mayor of London’s residence. It is a fantastic honour and we are very proud of the whole school achievement.
Awards and Meeting ArticleWe also had two of our Year 5 children, Macaulay and Ebony, who were invited to Red House Academy for a ‘teamwork’ afternoon. This was a bit of a fib as they were secretly meeting and working with Sunderland footballers!!
