End of Y6 Football Season

This Tuesday saw the last fixture of the 2017/18 season, a crunch game against Hastings Hill for a place in the playoffs. At half time we went in a goal down, with Hastings Hill enjoying the majority of the play. Only some heroic defending and goalkeeping by Chris Samuel was keeping the score down. The second half was a completely different story, with great pressure and hard work we made it extremely difficult for the opposition. Sadly, we just couldn’t get that lucky bounce or break and the match finished 0-1. However, the second half performance was something to be proud of. Not one of our team should be disappointed after what has been an absolutely brilliant season, achieving third place in the league.

We are so proud of our footballers, who have given everything this season and earned some fantastic results with grit, spirit and determination – as well as a lot of skill! Well done everyone.
