Selfie For Syria

Project-Paddington-colour-logoThis year we will be joining many schools across the country in supporting ‘Project Paddington’.  The campaign is gaining growing recognition throughout the country and Southwick is playing its small part. Project Paddington is all about children helping children. There is something very special about the kindness of children and how they respond to one another regardless of their background. We want our lantern festival to show the compassion and generosity of our Southwick community.

We will be taking part in ‘A Selfie For Syria’ – where children (and grown-ups) will take a photograph of themselves with their favourite Teddy Bear for our school website and in-school display to raise awareness of the problems refugee children around the world are facing. We hope to raise as much money as possible through your donations for refugee families with children.

We would like our children to bring their favourite Teddy and donation into school for their ‘selfie’.  Please pop into school during lantern making to find out more about our campaign.
