The Southwick Year 4 Football team produced two performances to be proud of at the County Cup at Murton Ribbon.
The first was a tight 1-0 victory, courtesy of a composed finish by Mikey Keogh late in the game. In a fiercely competitive second match, Southwick came out as 2-1 winners thanks to a wonderful strike by Layton Pennock, crashing in off the bar, and a well worked goal finished by Harrison Bates-Whitfield. Both games were full of hard work, never-say-die attitude and fantastic teamwork from every player on the pitch – not to mention huge smiles! A massive well done to our stars for progressing to the next round.
