On Tuesday 2nd October, 18 children from year 6 took part in an athletics tournament at Monkwearmouth Academy with four other schools in Sunderland.
We would like to say a huge well done to both our boys team who finished in second place (only one mark off the top spot) and to our girls team, who finished in fourth place. You all represented our school so well and we are extremely proud of you all for not only your fantastic behaviour but also for the support that you gave to each other throughout the event. Below are some of our highlights from the tournament:
Summer: 1st place, girls two lap race

Reece H: 1st place, boys two lap race
Reece H & Kenny: 1st place, boys 6 lap paarluf
Reece H, Jayden, Jason & Kyle: 3rd place, boys hurdle relay
